Tony Washington – Comic Con 2010

San Diego Comic-Con, a prestigious four-day event held every summer, showcases the gamut of pop culture content: comic books, webcomics, graphic and fantasy novels, film & television, science fiction & fantasy, horror, anime, manga, animation, toys and video games. The convention is the largest in the Americas, and the second largest in the world after Angoulême International Comics Festival in France.

THE ART OF SOUND’S Tony Washington participated in this year’s Comic-Con Artists’ Alley — where attendees meet their favorite creators, and can purchase limited-edition prints and sketchbooks — and sold signed copies of his newly-released CD, STATIONS STORIES: ARRIVAL. Elsewhere at the Con, Tony’s score for DC-Wildstorm Comics’ 2010 product promotion reel was the soundtrack for that company’s booth.

Wonderful Opening Event at Liz’s Loft

The Opening Season’s Event at the “Loft at Liz’s” was a smoking, smashing success with a diverse and phenomenal turnout

Louis threw paint in the Garage, beneath a ceiling of 10 antique Chandeliers

No’a performed for the first time ever working with a very wide range of his compositions and being asked by everyone to play for 30 minutes beyond the end of the event as folks got quite animated in the enthusiastic crowd.
It was a milestone for No’a as he took the works he’s been doing with such focus in the studio for the last four years, finally outward into the world to breathe.. The response was a revelation and the beginning of a new stage for his musical expression.

Here’s to new creation/art/music/community/love and the “mysteries” beyond..

House Painting Tour

Saturday night No’a Winter Lazerus and I performed as

at ZEROMINUSPLUS at FRED SEGAL in Santa Monica.  No’a played as I painted a house!

People shopped.

It was really fun and we had two offers to play at private parties.

Thanks to Darrlynn, Kate, Elizabeth and Freeland for the inspiration
