San Diego Comic-Con, a prestigious four-day event held every summer, showcases the gamut of pop culture content: comic books, webcomics, graphic and fantasy novels, film & television, science fiction & fantasy, horror, anime, manga, animation, toys and video games. The convention is the largest in the Americas, and the second largest in the world after Angoulême International Comics Festival in France.
THE ART OF SOUND’S Tony Washington participated in this year’s Comic-Con Artists’ Alley — where attendees meet their favorite creators, and can purchase limited-edition prints and sketchbooks — and sold signed copies of his newly-released CD, STATIONS STORIES: ARRIVAL. Elsewhere at the Con, Tony’s score for DC-Wildstorm Comics’ 2010 product promotion reel was the soundtrack for that company’s booth.
